Benjamin Azamati of Ghana won the gold medal in the Paris Diamond League competition on Saturday in the 100- and 200-meter sprints.
Despite challenging weather in France, the 24-year-old accomplished the impressive feat in 10.25 seconds.
For the athlete, who is only taking part in his second Diamond League match, it is a great lift. He is anticipated to bring his skills to the Commonwealth Games in 2022
He competed against seven others including fellow Ghanaian sprinter, Sean Safo-Antwi who finished sixth with a time of 10.45 seconds.
