Even after a big show without me, they still talk about me—Shatta Wale breaks his silence about the Global Citizen Festival rejection.

Shatta Wale has finally reacted to the buzz that surrounded his surprise exclusion from the Global Citizen Festival which was held in Ghana and headlined by R&B superstar Usher Raymond

Additionally, Shatta Wale claimed that although some gatekeepers prevented his brand from playing at the event, now everyone is talking about him because they had wanted him to be part of the celebration.

“I am the kind of artiste that when they do a whole show in Ghana, and the president of Ghana even goes, after the show, they will talk about a different artiste,” he said.

“Ghana them do them Global Citizen finish everyone dey talk about me. And it’s sad when the global citizen company dey love a guy like Shatta Wale and you people didn’t put him on.

And people be like he’s a bad boy, he is crazy, and he doesn’t know what he is doing. You people are f**ls, [SIC]” he said.

Likewise, Some Ghanaians recently claimed the boss of the vociferous SM fraternity, Shatta Wale was bleeding profusely after he was sidelined for the mega Global Citizen Festival held in Accra Ghana and headlined by R&B superstar Usher Raymond.

The Global Citizen Festival is an annual music festival started in 2012 and organized by Global Poverty Project. It was founded by Ryan Gall and Hugh Evans.

Holding the fort for Ghana at the star-studded event were Sarkodie, Gyakie, Yaw Tog, Kwesi Arthur and Stonebwoy.
