Kofi Kinaata pleads with police to rescue missing Takoradi girls

Ghanaian musician and songwriter, Martin King Arthur popularly known as Kofi Kinaata have added his voice to the campaign for the release of the three kidnapped girls in Takoradi pleading with the police to help rescue the missing Takoradi girls.

The three girls, namely Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie (15 years), Priscilla Blessing Bentum (21 years) and Ruth Love were kidnapped in August last year.

Parents and relatives of the kidnapped girls took to the street of Sekondi-Takoradi to mount pressure on the authorities to help rescue their kidnapped children and prosecute the kidnappers.

Kofi Kinaata who is a native of Takoradi and known for songs like ‘Susuka,’ ‘Sweetie Pie,’ ‘Last Show,’ Single and Free,’ among others in his tweet said, “I stand with my sisters who have been kidnapped, the families and my people in #Taadi. I’m confident our girls will be found. I urge the police to do more and speed up their operation to rescue our girls. Stand strong Taadi. We will win this battle.”
